A recipe that travelled with me
I grew up in Jamaica with my great-great-grandmother's rum cake at every birthday, Christmas and wedding, and now I bake her recipe by hand in London, so whether you grew up with rum cake or you're trying it for the first time, welcome to the table – Bevvy's table.

Custom orders
Planning something special?We can make your rum cake the centrepiece, with designs including personalised piped messages, classic white icing with marzipan, fresh or edible flowers, gold leaf, cake toppers and tiered cakes for weddings and big events. Custom cakes are priced by design, so message us with your date, size and ideas, and we’ll send you a quote before you pay.
How to order
Ordering is easy
Christmas orders are open. Last orders for Christmas: 7 December.
1. Message me on WhatsApp. Tell me which cake, how many, and when you need it.
2. I'll confirm and send a secure payment link. Your order is booked once payment is received.
3. I bake it fresh and wrap it by hand.
4. Collect it from Croydon, or have it delivered anywhere in England (delivery charge applies).Please allow 7 days' notice, and more for celebration cakes.
Good to know
Our rum cakes are made with quality ingredients and soaked in J. Wray & Nephew Jamaican rum. They contain wheat (gluten), eggs and our kitchen also handles nuts.
Please tell us about any allergies when you first get in touch.Want it made with gluten-free flour, or without alcohol, dairy or eggs, or with less sugar?
